| Moccasin Gap Bluegrass Band is based in the Tri-Cities Tennessee and Southwest Virginia region. Formed in 2001 MGBB is known for its entertaining shows with the music being the main attraction. MGBB plays hard driving bluegrass featuring tight harmony vocals. The band consists of: Luanne McMurray-vocals/bass Eric McMurray-vocals/banjo/fiddle John Malayter-vocals/mandolin Daniel Houseright-guitar. |

We are blessed to live in one of the most
beautiful areas on the planet. We are proud to
call Scott County Virginia and Upper East
Tennessee home, so we took our name from
our history rich area. The picture to the right
tells the story of a gap in the Clinch
Mountain chain, Moccasin Gap.
