| In July 2011, MGBB went to WETS radio station on the campus of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee to perform on a well-known program, Studio One*, which is hosted/produced by Dave Carter with sound engineer, Mike Strickland. After hearing a recording from the live performance, MGBB knew it needed to get this material onto a new CD; therefore, in August 2011, MGBB returned to WETS to again work with Mike Strickland. This CD was recorded “live” in the same studio room, with very few “overdubs”, and MGBB is proud of it as the intended “live feel” delivery was captured. This CD recording also represents what one would expect from an actual MGBB performance and MGBB sincerely hopes that anyone who purchases the CD will enjoy it as much as MGBB had recording this project. *For nearly 19 years, Studio One, which currently airs from 1-2 pm Saturdays on 89.5 WETS-FM, has featured many local, regional, and nationally-known acts from all genres of music on the airwaves in the East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and Western North Carolina areas.
